ORIGINAL EDITION COLLECTOR’S ITEM: 2

Based in Warwickshire, Ragged Raven was an energetic and innovative poetry press that produced stylish and expansive editions of a range of exciting talents – including three poets who continue to have a commanding presence on the Hull scene, Andy Fletcher, Tony Petch and John Robinson. Published in 2007, Andy Fletcher’s the mile long piano gathered 69 poems in 88 pages – two or three times the length of a standard collection – many of the poems having already graced leading magazines like Tears in the Fence, Iron, Bête Noire, Iota, The Reater, Outlaw and Fire. Since then Fletcher has published another bumper collection, How to be a Bomb (Wrecking Ball Press, 2016), appeared in such anthologies as Old City, New Rumours and The Hull Connection, and been selected for the prestigious Forward Book of Poetry, 2017. He is a splendid reader of his own work and sometimes performs with experimental band Fear of Bicycles. We are pleased to be able to offer pristine first edition copies of the mile long piano, signed by the author, at the original cover price.
